A day for love in Belgium

A picture of the ceremony waiting for the bride and the groom to arrive

Lotte and Rob

On the 8th of August 2026, Black Sea Motion came as the videography team for the beautiful wedding of Lotte and Rob.

Our day started with the morning preparations of the bride, Lotte, capturing those quiet and intimate moments before the celebrations began. From there, we headed together to the beautiful Donjon Ter Heyden castle in Rotselaar, where we captured the couple’s first look. For this special moment, we worked with a three-camera setup, combining two video cameras with a drone to create a dynamic and cinematic perspective.

After the first look, we continued to another beautiful location for the couple’s portraits, the NAC in Houthalen-Helchteren.

Later, we arrived at the incredible venue of Watt 17, a former mining-site with a distinctive industrial character. The history of the location could really be felt throughout the day, while its enormous windows filled the space with beautiful, natural light. During dinner, this mining atmosphere became even more present, with the servers dressed in miners’ clothing and bringing the food out in mining carts - a unique detail that made the experience truly memorable.

The ceremony was another important highlight of the day, and once again we covered it with a three-camera setup, allowing us to capture every important moment from multiple perspectives while keeping the focus on Lotte and Rob.

After the ceremony came an amazing dinner, followed by an enormous dessert buffet that certainly gave everyone plenty to enjoy. Then came the first dance of Lotte and Rob. It started beautifully and romantically with a slower dance, before transforming into a more energetic and choreographed second part. Soon, family and friends joined them on the dance floor, turning the first dance into the perfect transition toward the after-party.

And from there, the disco was on.
